NSEGTA Apprenticeships

Performing Engineering Operations is a Level 2 qualification.

This qualification forms part of the Level 2 Intermediate Engineering Apprenticeship but also the Level 3 Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship framework enabling the learner to progress as they develop their skills in their chosen job role.

Units for PEO are varied and can be completed in the following:

  • Fabrication and Welding
  • Machining
  • Maintenance
  • Electrical based

What are the entry requirements?

GCSE grades above D would be preferred for English, Maths and ICT.

Where will the training take place?

This apprenticeship is on-the-job training with 5 days in the workplace and to attend NSEGTA offices once a month for theory over 1 year.

What will you be working towards?

You will be working towards a Level 2 NVQ Diploma Performing Engineering Operations on an Improving Operational Performance Apprenticeship.
